International Optimist Day

Optimist Day - February 2, 2017
On this day, members of Optimist International throughout the world will celebrate ''Optimist Day" on the first Thursday of February.  On Optimist Day, Optimists are asked to wear Optimist attire - shirts, pins, hats, etc. Post your best Optimist attire on social media and tag Optimist International or use the #OptimistDay hashtag. Send your photos to to be featured in future publications.

On this day you will see club members promoting awareness of our programs for youth in St. Paul by wearing your OI Pin or logo wear and talking to people about the club, our mission and our youth programs on Thursday,  February 2nd to show others how our club is Bringing our the best in Youth, our Community and Ourselves.
February 2nd, may be mostly known as "Groundhog" Day, where hopeful count on seeing or not seeing a shadow to predict how long winter will be. This year, To those of us who are tried and true Optimists, we think this day is better known as "Optimist Day" for 2017!
